I may not be remembering correctly, but I think "Antique Aroma" was the name of a product that gave a rug an antique-like appearance, but didn't give it an odor.

I think it would be very surprising if rugs had any particularly significant odors, especially after washing and rinsing. Since I've never heard of anyone getting very agitated about the odor ofa rug, I suspect that odor does not have a role in rug appreciation.
