As a relatively new member of the rug world, I need to ask a question of innocence (i.e., ignorance).
I am very impressed with this detailed knowledge of patterns and pattern similarities and possible pattern evolutions displayed in some of these posts but where does it all take us?
Are these things being noticed and are they to be enjoyed as ends in and of themselves or is there something more here that I'm missing?
If these things are being examined as some of the indicators of attribution, then it makes sense to me but if not (and sometimes there seem to be explicit denials that attribution is the goal)then I'm not getting it.
