Dear all,

A Kurdish atribution has been rejected at least by Michael and Wendel concerning "rug4".
1/
It would be interesting to know which features or structural details you would expect to find, if these bag faces were Kurdish.

2/
Ho, all the attention is actually focused on these two bag faces, which are the two faces of the same bag.

George O'Bannon made very interesting comments concerning "rug one" and even said "it appears to me that yours is the oldest of the published examples and the only one with the idiosyncrasies associated with spontaneous village and tribal weaving." Does any one else have some thoughts concerning this rug?

3/
Also focus your attention on the back of this rug (rug1) and remember some structural discussions during Wendel's last salon before Marla Mallett makes her own comments. Do you see what she sees?

4/
There are some Caucasian and Kurdish experts on this site. Do they have some thoughts concerning "rug 3" or related examples. I didn't found any one !

5/
Last the topic introduced in "rug2" is perhaps more technical but if somebody knows the Email address of experts in SW Persian field such as James Opie,.. they can perhaps inform them about this discussion. This would provide very interesting comments.

Cordially

Daniel
