Dear folks -

A number of our questions contrast the NW Persian/Caucasian rectangular "mafrash" cargo bag with the Turkmen "envelope" bags. I wonder if the rectagular bag isn't the anomaly. We've noted that Turkmen weavers don't make these rectangular bags. It seems to me that Southern Persian, Turkish, and Balouch weavers did not make this rectangular type bag either. All their bags seem to be versions of what Steve has called an "envelope" bag. Or am I mistaken?
