Please use your full name. We do not permit posting anonymously or under a pseudonym, ad hominem remarks, commercial promotion, comments bearing on the value of any item or on the reputation of any seller.
Please note that the use of pseudonyms or commercial names for your user name is not permitted on Turkotek, you'll need to change your user name to your first and last name, or we can do it for you. Also, just to clarify, we don't permit discussions of pieces currently offered for sale, or on pricing.
Regarding the Balouch post I posted earlier that is closed, I wanted to inform you that I removed my listing on Rug Rabbit because to me its more important to learn about it than to sell it. My apologies for this, I am well informed now about the rules for this platform and this will not happen again in the future.
Would it be possible to reopen my post? I really would love to get the members thoughts on this rug because I've been struggling to find conclusive information. I have removed my rug on the selling platform.
I understand if you decide not to do so as this was an error on my part.
from the pic I can see the top of the border is missing the border and near the bottom of the pic the piece has a shifting in the weave. Hard to say why as there are many possibilities of how it happened. Nice piece and it looks to be wool on wool.
Thank you for your analysis. I agree with you that this picture is far from clear, unfortunately when I purchased it only that picture was available. I will receive the rug this week hopefully.
I also see more than a few old repairs done as you pointed out. When I receive the rug I will take decent pictures and share them here so we can take a more detailed look.
