ID:	1142 Torba 53x14 inches. I do mint recognize any symbols except the curled leafs. Does anyone have an idea of tribe or era?

    Hi Joe,

    Looks like Ersari Turkmen to me. The dullness of the colors--could be your photo--make me wonder what they look like from the back. I have a small Ersari (Middle Amu Darya Turkmen of some sort, anyway) mat that looks like the same design pool, perhaps a generation earlier, though the weaver of this little piece was clearly from a poor family--she couldn't even afford indigo. But she was pretty skilled with the dyestuffs she could find, even a pale yellow. Oddly, the coloration is what you might find on Chodor work, minus the indigo.
