The TurKoTek Home Page can be accessed by clicking the link, or on the image on the top of the page on the left side. From there (or from the link here), you can access our Archived Salons and Selected Discussions. Our forums are easy to use, and you are welcome to read and post messages without registering. However, registration will enable a number of features that make the software more flexible and convenient for you, and you need not provide any information except your name (which is required even if you post without being registered) and a working email address. We have received the sad news that John Howe, one Turkotek’s founders and a frequent contributor in its early years, has died. His daughter sent us this obituary: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries...ry?id=55160402
This is very sad news. I was extremely fortunate to communicate with him extensively via email just a few months ago. I can say I am honored that he took time to chat with me. He was a gentleman and a scholar. The textile world lost a giant.
