Some Closing Comments

Hi People

We will be opening a new Salon in a few days, so I will close discussion on this one.

The subject of sarees that Jaina introduced is totally new to most of our readership; in fact, we've had almost no mention of textiles from India in more than five years of on-line discussions. I found it a fascinating area, and one of which I hope we'll see more as time goes by. With her essay as background, it will be easier to conduct conversation about the textiles of India in, for example, Show and Tell threads.

I want to thank Jaina for undertaking this. It's appreciated very much more than the sparse discussion might indicate.
