Less Conventional Yastik
Dear folks -
While looking for an image for Michael Wendorf's
"conventional yastik" thread, I noticed that I had possibly been unalert about
whether Morehouse may give some help on the less conventional yastik that Joe
Fell presented.
It seemed to me that there are three candidates for similarity
with this unusual piece. My indicators are the color palette and chevron borders
or vertical strips that occur in them.
Here are the three pieces. They
are Plates 105, 106 and 107.
Here is what
Morehouse says about them.
What do you
think? Is Joe's unusual piece part of this group?
Regards,
R. John
