Khamseh, Kurd or Kizil-Bash?

The chanteh with the shrub, identified as Nafar? Khamseh has a field design known in several weavings from different areas. While searching the Turkotek site, I came across this early reference:

It may be useful to continue that thread here, or at least consider the information contained there. The whole Khamseh rug from which a small portion was included in this salon is shown there. A Kurdish source was advanced for this design.
