Hi People,
At Yon Bard's suggestion, I have edited the messages that reference images in John's Salon, inserting the images directly into the messages. I think the messages are easier to interpret this way. You can incorporate images from the Salon into your messages, if you want to do so, very easily. The images have file names like jb1.jpg; jb2.jpg; jb3.jpg, and so forth for images #1, #2, #3, etc. They are all in our server in a folder named salon_00078. The web address for image #1, for instance, is http://www.turkotek.com/salon_00078/jb1.jpg The addresses for the others are identical to this except that the number just before ".jpg" becomes the number of that image. Easy, huh? To make an image appear in a message, insert a line that looks like this: [img=http://www.turkotek.com/salon_00078/jb1.jpg]. Keep all lower case letters, and don't leave any blank spaces. I had to play some little tricks on the code to make it not display the image, and will share this secret with anyone interested, although I can't think of a single reason why anyone should care. I hope this is useful to some of you. Steve Price |

Steve, Yon -
Yes, this is a much better strategy than my "mult-tasking" suggestion. I wasn't sure now readily it could be done but it seems pretty straightforward. Thanks to you both, R. John Howe |
