I attended this presentation, one of the best I've seen at a Textile Museum Rug Convention. I just want to add my thanks to John's, to all of the people whose cooperation made John's Salon possible.

As Steve notes, several people cooperated in fashioning this salon.

As you will likely have noticed, I come pretty quickly to the end of any arena of rug expertise in which I can speak with any authority.

But I am very interested in rugs and textiles and willing to work to draw folks who do have such knowledge and experience into our conversations.

The initial photo essay in this salon is the result of one instance of the kind of cooperation to which I/we aspire.
