Dear Jerry and all, From Parviz Tanavoli’s Kings, Heroes, and
Lovers, the following images are of a 1930’s Bidjar showing a variety
of animals found in Persia. Tanavoli comments that this rug differs from
most other Persian pictorial rugs in its lack of a theme, legend or
tradition.
