Dear Daniel,
The Talish depicted in "Oriental Rugs In Autrian Collections" is my piece and is the frontispiece of Ruglore. The writer Trimbacher, a stooge for Ferdie Besim, called it a Gendge based on coarsness of weave. Everyone, who has seen the carpet calls it a Talish. Its outstanding characteristic is that it is a methane with a green center.
