Can we have pictures, or at least literature references, to 'banal' and 'non-banal' ensis?
As for the comparison to mathematics, it is certainly true that intuitive insights play a dominant role in the progress of mathematics, and often become enshrined as 'conjectures' that spur other mathematicians on to great heights trying to find proofs. Yet, until such proofs are found, they are only conjectures that are not confused with 'the truth.' And, of course, they are sometimes disproved.
What I am trying to say is that with all due respect, we cannot take your intuitions as anything more than conjectures that require more substantive proof before we accept them as fact.
