The question: The more geometric The older age? If yes, it means that, at least for me, one big step in determining ages is completed so that I'll immediately estimate the ages of rugs more or less just by looking at the motifs in my own accuracy range.
However, this would be a easy for my future estimations if there were no counter-example, Pazyryk rug. (the image is available on the other board)
The motifs are not so simple in this earliest rug. The motifs are not geometric at all. What does this mean? Maybe, it was a rug of an intermediate period? Also, other comments?
