I just finished reading an article written 13 years ago and that I thought it would be worth to post a link to it since some parts of it is related to current topic being discussed here. (Turkotek too has a link to his page, Sam's RugLore, on its Link section).

ps. I was able to keep myself not to post and but couldn't keep to follow and view this board managed by Steve very successfully. Don't worry I'll keep silence. But this article was very interesting for me, particularly its "Promotion" part. I did not ask for a permission from him about posting here hoping that he will not get angry with me.
