Photo's show many of the large bags being carried by donkey, in addition to camel.
Regarding the use of wood, many of the frame lattices for the Turkmen tents were made in urban areas for sale to non-sedentary Turkmen, since the manufacture was a specialty.
There was also commonly used in Turkmen tents a large wooden chest/table, kept on the women's side, and transported with them on migration.
