: Dear Indulgent Friends,
: I've had a(nother) silly thought that I'd like to share. The topic is the woven bag and its various roles. It is a container for things, sometimes for specific things like scissors or mirrors. It conceals those things from the evil eye and the envy of others. It is also a form of decorative art.
: Now consider clothing. It is a woven container for people. It conceals them (in part, at least), and this is unquestionably part of the function. It also decorates and adorns the person it contains, also part of its function.
: Does this lead anywhere, thought-wise?

Dear Steve,
I have seen some mothers long time ago while they were carrying their babies on their backs in such things. But I don't have idea about if it is a tradition or not.
They were small babies, for "old babies" these bags would be good decorative clothes, at least than those what they wear on.
Regards,
Erol
