Dear Gentlemen,
Phew...I thought I was being taken for a fool. So the erudite fellowship has just as much trouble as do I in navigating this abominable little carte de visite, on which such profound thoughts are expressed.
In fact, my greatest problem, aside from the size of the format, is my inability to scroll up or down without losing entire paragraphs, which seem to slide into oblivion through the bottom of this porthole like so many lemmings into the sea. And when I do finally click the "submit" button, I'm never sure what flotsam and jetsam will appear after my 'signature.'
"Drag-and-drop" is a useful concept: many of us do it every evening when we return home. Why can't we do it here? The only other sites where I have been forced to use these damnable 'little boxes' belong to multi-national corporations, where they are used for consumer complaints, but never for investor relations.
I daren't review what I have written thus far, or too much of it will slip away from me in the process. So please forgive any spelling gaffes.
I never really liked Alice's Adventures through the Looking-Glass, anyway. (And why can't we underline, italicize, etc. Even AOL, which is user-friendly to the most illiterate, permits such niceties. I'm not asking for footnote ability, just a chance to vet what I've written before I cast it out, like a note in a bottle, onto the 'Web'...[we did not {read:italics} have fish for dinner tonight]).
