Rug #2 is most likely from around or in Hamadan, so it might have been made by Kurdish hands, but not necessarily so. Even if a Kurd wove it, I wouldn't consider it to be a Kurdish rug because it isn't in the Kurdish tradition.

As to the owner's attribution of Central Anatolia, he is about as accurate as the recent seller on eBay who described his Shahsavan mafrash panel as being Chodor Turkmen.

I have commended Daniel for often presenting some very interesting rugs. This, however, is not one of them.
