When I first brought up the subject of conference fees I did not mean to imply that they overcharge frivolously; just that for me, at least, the high cost is a definite deterrent. And I do think that admission to the exhibitions and dealers' row should be available at substantially reduced cost to accompanying family members. This is likely to result in additional revenue to the conference since it would attract people who wouldn't otherwise attend.
