Although there are certainly pinwheel-like things to be found in Kaitag embroideries (and even more so in Lakai), I don't know of any evidence that Uzbek and Kaitag work have had much influence on each other. The Kaitag region is just a couple of remote villages in Daghestan, and although Ottoman influence is clear in some of the embroideries, I don't know of any evidence for influences from central Asia. Perhaps some reader who is better informed can help us out on this.
To my own eye, at least, the most strikingdiffeence between this bag's design and that on most Kaitags is the more or less disciplined layout. Kaitag work tends to be almost wildly exuberant, even more so than Lakai.
