I do not understand what Michael said that you say "is wrong" - specifically I do not see that he said anything about the Turkomens' fate during the 13-16th century.
Are you saying that the destruction of the cultural centers of Merv, Bukhara and Samarkand, the dispersal of artisans during the Mongol period and the importation of craftsmen from outside Cental Asia did not occur? If not, what specifically did he say that is wrong?
I read nothing in Michael's text that excludes what you said (they are not mutually exclusive) - only that you have elaborated on a small part of what he said, but then fell back on your overworn arguement that "if you only know what I know, if you only see what I see" without specific references to back your assertions.
As to the interest in your ideas...well I better not get into that one.
