The only angora pile carpets which I have handled are modern, i.e. turn-of-the-century Ushaks with angora pile. Any relationship> Also those angora wool pile rugs wore out easily since the wool is so fragile. Did this occur with Tulus? Lastly, I have seen non-bedding Tulu utilitarian pieces described (Tribal and Village Weavings from Arizona Collections) with Mohair. For those who haven't looked it up, mohair is another name for the wool from Angora goats. Marvin
