Dear World,
Issues of cultural memory and genetic predisposition to particular weaving characteristics have now progressed to what I believe is a reasonable end-point within the context of the major topic. I believe all parties have clearly stated their respective positions, and it is unlikely that any minds that haven't been changed by the arguments will be changed in the near future by continuing along these lines.
Therefore, I respectfully ask our guests to redirect attention to the piece under discussion. What is it? Who made it? When? What is interesting about it? What do we like or dislike about it from an aesthetic standpoint? In short, what can we learn from each other by sitting in front of it while we enjoy our coffee?
