Count the feet, folks. This would have to be one strange leopard.
And if it were a symbolic caterpillar, what would be more appropriate to wrap a child in? For isn't a child a mere caterpillar of an adult, crawling along, feeding, gaining strength, until the eventual metamorphosis into adulthood?
Of course such conjecture is worth about as much as the paper it's printed on without confirmation in the field.
