No....there are no tent bands in chapter 3. What the book does offer is the best compilation of old photographs to ever be published. These photographs are the fruits of Jon Thompson's entire life. This book costs far more to print than it is actually selling for. One can spend days, with a good magnifying glass, looking at the pictures of native Turkmen doing their thing. This aspect of the book makes it priceless in my opinion. Jim Allen
