Rugs and clothes

Thank you very much for your interesting mini-Salon.
The first painting appears also on Gantzhorn’s book, although there is attributed
to the Florentine painter Taddeo Gaddi. The Museum curator must have changed
his mind.
I find this one very intriguing
because it shows the cross-fertilization of design between rugs and other textiles
– in this case, a fabric used for a dress!
