ID:	2155 I used to work in Yosemite at the Ahwahnee hotel, which has a collection of kelims. My partner acquired this rug from a yard sale in Stinson Beach a few years ago and I was excited! I know reproductions are common nowadays. There is no label on this rug. it is 8x5. It is scratchy and sun bleached. It is similar, but not exact on front and back. Is there a way to know the age or where it was made? I have found similar (but not exact) patterns and colors online with rugs that vary in value from $200 to over $2000. Any info would be helpful. Mostly, I just have a soft spot because of my time at the Ahwahnee.

Thanks! Click image for larger version

I am no expert on Kilims but this one does look very Turkic which is a wide umbrella term to use. To me the design and colors are classic from the 1960-1980 era and traditional of examples found on the west coast of Turkey near the Bergama area.
