I have found this runner in a secondhand shop, I needed something not very delicate for the entrance... Do you also think that this could be a Meshkin from Iranian Azerbaijan? Size 90x378 cm. I also think that it could be older than it looks, because it has been lying around in an upper class household for many decades...
Could you possibly post a close-up of the back of the rug? From the photo, it looks like the warps (the theads that make up the fringes) are cotton. Is that right?
Alsoinfluential, your piece has fully depressed warps, and the Meshkin example has little to no warp depression. Another indicator of a different attribution.
