Saddlebag - need help

Dear friends. I bought today this saddlebag at our local flea market. I cleaned and now it has dense and shiny wool, but I still don't know what it is. I need expert opinion. Thanks an have a good day. Peter

Off the cuff, I'd say mid-20th century Afghan work, but there are much more qualified commentators around!

It does look like an Afghan piece and looks 1000 years old! I love the wear on it.

I see it the same way Mikko does: Afghan, second half of the 20th century. Wear is a poor criterion of age. The closure ropes are still in place.
