Hi Paul - many thanks for your observations and the link - a fascinating discussion. I note the Zobal features in my rug - the use of 7 guls in the vertical row and the almost identical design of the secondary guls in the rug shown in the first image on the link. Its interesting that there are common patterns in the borders of Mikko's rug though, but I guess there were no hard boundaries between the regions. Anyway its great to be able to have a good attribution for my rug and thanks again for your help.
