I would like help with id’ing and dating this please. The knot count is aproximately 50 per square inch and the size is 160cm x 120m. These are the only two photos I have, that is I have no better quality ones unfortunately.
The motifs and depressed warps are consistent with a Saryk lineage, but the implementation of the minor guls does look a bit like a plan "gang a-gley", implying a weaving skill set still under development. The limited palette, and the particular orange in the elem panel, do indicate something like 1930's or later, to my eye.
