Hanging a Heybe with Leather binding?

Does anyone know the secret on how to hang a Heybe that has leather around the bag bottom to hang vertically? I’ve looked at some quilt type hangers but most have teeth or clamp down to tight that would cause compression damage. I’m at a lost.

Hi Joe,

This depends on exactly where/how the leather is used, but I have gently stitched velcro into the back of pieces, and glued the other part of the velcro to a strip of wood, which I mounted to the wall. This method works really well for irregular-shaped items, since repositioning is very easy.
