I have received news from Huseyin Arisoy that one of our earliest members, Michael Bischof, has passed away recently, at his home in Germany.

At this time, we have no further details available.

Michael was a frequent and valued contributor on Turkotek, with broad knowledge of dyes, carpets, and other woven goods.

I couldn't believe it when I first heard the news. I didn't want to believe it, but his assistant Menduh Kurtul confirmed this news.
