Hi all,
I initially thought this was a Turkoman weaving, but now I am not so sure. Would anybody here mind giving me their estimation on what this could be? It's flat-woven, not knotted. It's missing the tassel on the left side, and some of the fringes at the bottom, but other than that, it's pretty intact. I am going to hang it above one of my interior doors. https://www.flickr.com/photos/157182...7667150590698/ Thanks in advance, Eric Zwicky Richmond VA USA |

Hi Eric,
I believe that flat woven pieces of this sort are generally attributed to the Yomut Turkmen. Joel Greifinger |
