Default Do you clean and wash your carpets?

Hello everyone,

I thought I'd start a new thread to find out more about how the more experienced collectors take care of their precious rugs.

How often do you brush or vacuum your carpets? Do any of you use the vinegar solution technique to repel carpet eating critters? Do you use professional cleaners when they need a wash, or do you hose them down in the back yard

I would be great for newbies like me to know more about this from those of you who have tried it all before!

Robert.
