Kay,

I have all the books mentioned above, but for me, the best survey book on Turkmen work is the one put together by Uwe Jourdan from Nagels Auction House for the Antique Collectors Club book series on oriental rugs: Volume 5, Turkoman

The inaccuracies are no worse than in any other volume and it is a really broad collection of material.
